He was telling the people to form a straight line.<br /><br /> Because it was so crowded, the people were standing where they could find room, to avoid people walking in the door.<br /><br /> Well, the security guard said to the young man (something to the effect of), "Can you get straight in the line?"<br /><br /> Then, he went on to say that he should have brought his wip that is used for cattle-to keep them in line.<br /><br /> Many of the people in line were angry at his statement. I mean, he was speaking as if we were animals.<br /><br /> The young man was very, very, upset! He started cursing very loud at the older man.<br />Saying, "I'm a grown *%# man! You don't tell me what the *%#* to do! Who the *%#* do you think you are talking to me like that!"<br /><br /> There was a woman behind me saying that she doesn't know how people do it during christmas time (meaning pay these high bills and buy gifts for others and their children).<br /><br /> She kept mentioning how the gas bills in michigan were going to rise and she doesn't have the money to buy christmas gifts and she feels the stress of the "holidays."<br /><br /> <strong>I just thought to myself- All praise due to Allah for making me muslim and relieving me of this foolishness.</strong><br /><br /> <strong>When the "holidays" of Islam come around, me and my family are excited and stress-free. we don't have these pressures of the non-muslims.</strong><br /><br /> <strong>I kept thinking to myself, "I am pleased with Allah as my lord, with muhammad as my prophet, and with Islam as my religion!"</strong> <br /><br /> I was standing in line to pay a bill and you know what?<br /><br />I walked away with <strong>less money </strong>in my pocket, but with <strong>more contentment</strong> in my heart!<br /><br /> How many of you non-muslims can feel that?<br /><br />See-ya next post, God-Willing!<br /><br />Ibrahim Wilson<br /> <br /><a href="http://www.IslamSecrets.com">Click here for Islam Secrets </a><br /><br /><a href="http://dar-us-salam.com/store/main.mvc?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=DP&Affiliate=darsaff1">Click here for more Islamic Info</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18313715-113427406799265016?l=paradisemotivated.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Ibraheemhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07028901828018569170noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18313715.post-1130591693593929632005-10-29T08:23:00.000-04:002005-10-29T09:14:53.816-04:00Bismillah, al-Hamdulillah, was-Salaatu was-Salaam alaa Rasoolillah<br />(<strong>In the name of Allah, all praise is due to Allah, and may Allah send peace upon His last prophet and messenger Muhammad</strong>)<br /><br /><br />Ramadhaan 25,1426 / Saturday, October 28th, 2005 <br /><br />Last night(Friday), after our maghrib (sunset) prayer at Masjid Tawheed in Detroit, myself and some of the other Muslim brothers were talking outside of the musalla (place of prayer).<br /><br />One of our brothers came from outside and said that there were some people outside who wanted to know about Islam.<br /><br />He suggested that we take them downstairs and explain Islam to them, but one brother quickly reminded him that the women were downstairs, so we needed another option.<br /><br />I suggested that we go into the musalla.<br /><br />Then, we turn around, and in walk about 7 or 8 young guys.<br /><br />We introduced ourselves and asked them their names and ages. They were 14 and 15 years old.<br /><br />Remember, it's a Friday night at about 8:30 p.m. I'm sure that most of this nation's youth are not going to masjids on a Friday night and Allah knows best!<br /><br />Anyway, Islam was explained to them briefly, when all of a sudden the athaan was being called for the Eshaa prayer.<br /><br />A couple of the teens started laughing uncontrollably. When asked why were they laughing, they apologized and one of them said he had never heard anything like that before.<br /><br />The athaan was briefly explained to them.<br /><br />One of the guys received a phone call and then said that they had to leave.<br /><br />We told them to come back any time to get their questions answered and then they all left.<br /><br />It's good to see people, especially the youth, making an effort to learn about Islam despite all of the negative information that has been spread.<br /><br />As a human being it is your duty to learn about your purpose in life and why you were created. <br /><br />So don't let the devil stop you from increasing your knowledge about that which is Good.<br /><br />as Allah (God)says in the Holy Qur'an (what means)<br /><br /><strong>"...and follow not the footsteps of the devil.
